Qui sommes-nous ?
About Weastem – Finance x Strategies for the New Climate Era
Weastem is a finance and strategy firm for the New Climate Era. We support financial institutions, asset managers, private equity firms, and corporates across Europe to navigate systemic risks, climate disruption, and emerging sustainability mandates. Founded in 2025 in Paris, we are a growing ecosystem of 20+ professionals located at the intersection of strategy, finance, and sustainability. We hold one conviction: finance must shift from being a lever of extraction to a force of transformation rooted in long-term value, resilience, and responsibility.
Our Ambition (Why we do what we do)
- We act as a lab for regenerative finance innovation
- We develop frameworks for sustainability that are not just technically sound, but grounded in real-world complexity
- We cultivate systemic thinking and cross-sector collaboration, weaving together perspectives that rarely meet
- We train finance professionals to question what is assumed, to challenge traditional models, and to lead with purpose
Weastem is expanding — and we are currently seeking Senior Consultants ready to play a key role in delivering and shaping high-impact missions.
Your mission :
As a Strategy & Sustainability Manager / Senior Consultant at Weastem, you will:
- Lead client engagements end-to-end: from scoping, methodology design, to delivery of recommendations that are practical and actionable
- Drive strategic framing of ESG and sustainability-related challenges: root causes, system-level disruptions, material impacts
- Guide teams in crafting workstreams that combine analytical rigor, stakeholder insight, and scenario thinking
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity in communication, strong storylines and credibility in every deliverable
- Contribute to building our intellectual capital: research, methodology development, knowledge sharing
- Support internal growth: mentor junior colleagues, help shape Weastem’s strategy, refine firm processes
- Help with firm development: proposal writing, corporate strategy inputs, thought leadership
Core types of missions you might lead:
- Strategic ESG / sustainability due diligence
- Portfolio risk & resilience analysis for climate, biodiversity, social dynamics
- Design of adaptation, climate, and regenerative finance strategies
- Transformation roadmaps for both financial and non-financial institutions
- Development of investment methodologies / theses that embed value creation and protection in the transition
What we look for
You are someone who:
- Has 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, sustainable finance, ESG advisory, private equity, asset management or related fields
- Has led teams or workstreams, structured complex projects, and has delivered practical outcomes for senior clients
- Thinks systemically: you consider not just what is visible today, but what’s shifting beneath the surface (megatrends, regulatory tipping points, social expectations)
- Are skilled in stakeholder listening, discerning trade-offs, balancing ambitions with what is feasible and credible
- Bring curiosity, humility, and integrity — a willingness to question assumptions and collaborate
- Communicate clearly in English and ideally French; multilingual capacity is a plus
- Strong analytical ability, ability to navigate complexity, and a moral compass that aligns with our mission
What you'll find at Weastem
- A collective working environment where every voice matters — combining a core team and independent partners into a living ecosystem
- High autonomy: you’ll shape the missions you lead, influence methodology, and contribute to our evolving identity
- Exposure to intellectually rich, cross-sector challenges that require both thoughtful rigor and courage to act
- Support for learning, growth, and inquiry — regular internal reflections, training, mentorship
- A values-driven culture anchored in collaboration, integrity, courage, and systems thinking
- Flexible Paris offices, hybrid work policy, compensation that reflects your experience + impact
Recruitment process
- Two interview rounds with senior consultants/managers (including case-study on sustainable finance / strategic thinking)
- Final discussion with Partners
- Office visit in Paris (meet the team, experience our culture)
