This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated pharmacy student to work within this fast-paced retail environment, with state-of-the-art drug dispensing equipment. Host company: This family run pharmacy group is at the heart of the local community and conducts over 20,000 face to face consultations per year on a range of medical conditions and helping people with their medicines. They specialise in minor ailments treating over 1000 patients annually in this area alone. They deliver over 10,000 prescriptions per annum to the elderly and housebound and in the last 2 years we have protected over 250 people from seasonal flu with their flu vaccine service. Investing in their people they have the skills and knowledge they need to help people. With 3 stores and plans to grow across Northern Ireland, they have an end-toend online prescription ordering system, with fully embedded robotic dispensing machines.

Profil recherché

Tasks: • Dispense prescriptions and assist with impromptu formulations. • Hand out of all client prescriptions • Assess customer enquiries and obtain relevant and appropriate assistance. • Provide help to clients on health issues and seek assistance from a pharmacist, when appropriate • Work in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures for processes within the pharmacy • Assist with stock management and ordering processes to ensure appropriate stocks of medicines are kept within the pharmacy, including helping with incoming deliveries. • Operate EPOS till systems, including updates, price changes • Stock control to ensure there is not out of date stock or medicinal items on shelves Skills: • Studying towards a degree in Pharmacy. • Experience in community pharmacy is an advantage. • Courteous and friendly approach, experience in customer facing role advantageous. • Experience in working as a part of a team and willingness to get involved with tasks.
