We are a Belgian engineering consulting firm that assists SMEs and large industrial organizations in bringing their innovation and R&D initiatives to life. For one of our clients active in the automotive industry we are looking for a motivated and experienced Embedded SW Engineer.

Job description:


- Specify, design, implement, and document software functionalities
- Work closely with the SW Verification and Validation team to develop test specifications and write test cases
- Develop new software and maintain existing products
- Collaborate with System and Application software teams to solve complex technical challenges
- Assist in diagnosing software-level issues

Qualifications:

- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in Embedded SW development
- Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
- Experience in AUTOSAR configuration
- Experienced with automotive software development standards (e.g., ASPICE)
- Good understanding of software architecture principles
- Experience with Vector Tools is a plus
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434) is a plus
- Experience with VECTOR AUTOSAR stack is a plus
- Expertise in bootloader design and HSM firmware is a plus
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation
- Proficient in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and tools
- Experience in agile development environments
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Fluent in English
